The Alden 12v Satellite is especially designed to be used in leisure vehicles. It can be used with any existing receiver (using 10.7GHz LO) that allows the reception of the channels from a chosen satellite.

Features

In just minutes of parking and switching on, this unit will automatically raise from roof, turn thru the correct horizontal and vertical angles and fix onto your desired satellite. It is that simple - you now have at least all the FREE to air channels (using the once only purchased OPTUS AURORA smartcard), and if you have an alternate CARD, you can fix to that satellite.

Satellite TV is delivered by communication satellites as opposed to terrestrial TV which is broadcast by radio frequency.

The Satellite Search Control (SSC) unit supplements these and hence provides a wider range of channels including subscription-only services.

It is dedicated to find OPTUS D2, OPTUS C1, OPTUS D1, INTELSAT 8 and OPTUS D3. The Alden satellite can be used with any existing receiver (using 10.7 GHz LO) that allows the reception of the channels from the chosen satellite and is especially designed to be used in leisure vehicles.

The Dish mounts onto the roof of your vehicle and features an inbuilt safety device - should you forget to lower the satellite, upon ignition of your vehicle, the system will shut itself down. The Disk is connected with 5metres of included cable to the Satellite Search Control (SSC) unit which is housed within your RV and where you select which satellite to fix onto. It works in two stages namely selecting the satellite you wish to utilize and step 2 would be selecting the zone that you are in.

The Alden satellite dish is compatible with most pay TV providers such as SelecTV, Optus Aurora and many more. Now you can have more TV choices further away from home!
