Caravanstore awning
Ideal for windup Camper Trailers. The
size shown is for the awning roller, the bag is 100mm longer, the fabric roof
is 90mm shorter.
The Fiamma Caravanstore awning (also called bag awning) offers a convenient and realistically priced alternative
to the traditional caravan awning. The Fiamma Caravanstore can be fitted as
required or secured permanently. The awning rolls neatly away into a soft
vinyl zippered case.
The awning / awning bag slides into a rope track (Not included) on your Camper
Trailer/Caravan - you may need to crimp or drill a hole in the track and place
a small screw into the rope to stop it slipping forward or backward. After unzipping
the bag, you manually roll out the awning.
The operation is shown in detail using the link below, but
briefly: Out of the centre tube, you slide out the legs and the rafter braces.
The rafter braces rest against the roof side and hold the roof in tension. The
rubber feet fit into sockets and the tension keeps them in place. The legs pivot
down to the ground from the inner tube and should be pegged to the ground with
the pegs provided - If you cannot get a peg in the ground where each leg meets
the ground you should use the guy rope and peg provided.
A bracket now comes with the latest model awning and can be
added to the side of the RV to attach the legs to.
