The new model features a longer arm, an improved mounting device, and a bracing arm that cleverly attaches to the car door with a suction cap. The unit is easy to install and, once in place, is very strong and stable.
The mounting device is designed to provide a snug fit to the most awkward of side mirror shapes. Curved side mirrors are no longer a problem. The towing mirror itself can be adjusted and swivelled to suit a variety of positions.
The addition of the suction support brace will prevent any “fold in” drivers often experience with clip-on mirrors. Fold-In often occurs in windy conditions or with a strong draft caused by oncoming traffic (trucks in particular) thereby bending the mirror inwards. Vehicles with weak springs in their existing wing mirrors are particularly susceptible to this.
