These locks are commonly used on shower doors. The lock shown allows a 'Rosette knob' to be fitted to the outside and any knob fitted to the inside of the door. Pressing the knob extends the lock tongue, plus rotates the 'push rod' (separate item) and the locking 'clamps' (top and bottom) which locks the door in three places.
This part number includes those parts shown in the diagram to the right. The enlargement shows the other components, excluding the 'push rod'. Knobs not included.
Specifications Back of catch measures 45mm wide, 53mm high and 19mm deep.
The tongue is set 5mm back from the rear of the door frame.
The centre line of the handle is set back 24mm from the outer edge of the shower door.
The centre line of the connecting shaft is 6mm from the rear of the door frame.
